- 12 x 15 1/2 in.
- 30.5 x 39.3 cm
the deep green silk velvet cover with silver pierced strapwork mounts set with gilt plaques engraved with the dates 1889 and 1895 and a shield with a family crest, centered with silver and enamel cartouche with the dedicatory inscription in Cyrillic: "To Mikhail Pavlovich Yakovlev from his Comrades and Coworkers," the center with the brightly colored Cyrillic monogram MPYa, with a gilded silver strapwork clasp, set on four bun feet
Condition
the first page with the signatures of the donors and the last with an export permit stamp; some rubbing to the velvet cover, the clasp slightly loose; some of the pages with small areas of foxing and a few small tears, the gilt edges with some small discoloration
