in the Pan-Slavic style, rectangular and divided into three hinged compartments, the top of the largest, central compartment and sides with silver-strapwork mounts with brightly colored, enameled bosses, the ornament on the sides mounted over brown leather, the lids of the side compartments with tapered, engraved covers with mitre finials, the wood carved and engraved in imitation of vernacular architecture, raised on four cushion bun feet enameled in champlevé

one applied decorative panel lacking and with some scatter enamel losses and surface scratches consistent with age and use
