Catalogue Note
Feliks Razumnyi (Félix Rasumny) was born in Sebastopol, Russia but immmigrated to France. He trained at the École des arts décoratifs and exhibited to great acclaim in France. He completed important ꧒commissions for both the Russian and French governments, including the massive cast iron maquette celebrating the opening of Pont Alexandre III displayed at the 1900 Paris Exposition universelle💧, the 1929 10 franc coin, and a medallion commemorating the centenary of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1902.
