- diameter 24.8cm, 9 3/4 in.
the cavetto depicting members of the 13th Military Order and 14th Malorossiisk Dragoon Regiments, the lilac border decorated with a medallion containing the Imperial State Seal flanked by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, the reverse inscribed in Russian after a painting by Piratskii, signed A. Morozov and dated [18]75, also with green and blue Imperial ciphers of Alexander II
Condition
some small kiln dirt apparent on the reverse and under the lilac border, some small rubbing to gilding and very small area of loss to paint near the edge of the cavetto at upper left
