- width of verrières including handles 33.2cm, 12 3/4 in.
comprising two verrières, two wine coolers, and eight dinner plates, all decorated in gilt and partly burnished gilt scrolling acanthus leaves, with blue or black Imperial ciphers of Nicholas I; with eight later dinner plates with conforming decoration, Eduard Schinkel or J.F. Maercklin, Stuttgart, three apparently unmarked
Condition
all of the pieces with some small rubbing or loss to the gilding; one of the Russian dinner plates with a small chip to the underside of the rim; both of the verrières with several small firing flaws (one to the top of the foot, the other with a flaw on the interior rim)
