- Porcelain, gilding
- width of small tureen including handles 19.3cm, 7 5/8 in.
comprising two small covered tureens on stands, eight dinner plates, eight soup plates, and six oval salts, all decorated in gilt and partly burnished gilt scrolling acanthus leaves, all pieces except the salts with blue or black Imperial ciphers of Nicholas I, the salts apparently unmarked
Condition
All of the pieces with some scratching and discoloration to gilding, some of the plates with very small nicks to edges or underside of feet consistent with age, one salt with a chip measuring 8 mm on one edge, the interior and underside of one tureen with several glaze and firing flaws
