chased and repoussé with a naturalistic image of the Mother of God holding the Christ Child to her cheek on a turquoise ground, the Holy Figures' halos in white champlevé enamel, the frame set with stylised rosettes in the four corners, the borders with scrolling foliage and flowers on a purple ground, surmounted by ogee-shaped arches with floral ornament enamelled on a cream ground, with wood back and strut, struck with unidentified Cyrillic maker's mark Kh.M, 84 standard

with some small losses to enamel on the borders and surface scratches to the gilded silver
