- 94.6 by 51cm, 37 1/4 by 20 1/8 in.
depicting the Archangel Michael as the guardian angel and leader of heavenly host, clad in full armour, his wings outspread, holding a drawn sword in his right hand and the sword scabbard with his other hand, dressed in a bright orange red cloak fastened on his breast and falling in folds at the back

Condition
The reverse of the panel with some damage due to woodworm, a narrow vertical strip missing in the upper left corner, patches of new gesso and some retouches in the lower part of the icon, some minor flaking to the lower part of the left leg, some minor retouching especially in the wings, some traces left of the original silver background
