depicting standing on the right as a child dressed in a white tunic holding a flowering twig and a scroll looking up at Christ Enthroned who appears in a segment of heaven in the upper left corner, depicting scenes from his vita before a rocky landscape, showing Artemii ploughing in the foreground and behind his soul being taken by an angel up to God, on the left the body of St Artemii found by a farmer, the border covered with a gilded basma

Some minor flaking and minor retouching to the paint, the figure of Christ Enthroned in the upper left repainted in the 19th century, the icon covered with some dirt and darkened varnish
