the lid painted with a shaded enamel figure of Sadko playing his gusli within a shaped reserve cornered with the bearded Sea Tsar, the sea and ships behind, bordered with polychrome scrolls and coils, the base with exotic foliage on a sea foam green ground in similar reserve, 84 standard

Condition
Excellent condition, and beautifully made. There is a small area of lid which appears to have had transparent glue or nail varnish dripped onto it. This does not appear to be restoration.
