- Wood, tempera
- left panel: 84.7 by 32.7cm, 33 3/8 by 12 7/8 in; right panel: 82.4 by 32cm, 32 3/8 by 12 5/8 in.
both panels crowned with an union domed top, on the upper part of the left panel the Forefather Noah holding the Ark in his hands together with an open text scroll, below the Prophet Zachariah, father of St John the Baptist, holding a scroll with a text from the prophecies; in the upper part of the right panel the beardless and traditionally dressed Forefather Abel, holding a scroll as well, below the Prophet Isaiah holding a solid iron rod with a fiery coal to purify him and an open scroll in his left hand, the two panels originating from the prophet tier of an iconostasis
