depicting against the background of a Russian orthodox church the Patriarch of Jerusalem Makarios raising the True Cross with both hands, supported by two deacons, to the left Emperor Constantine and to the right his mother Empress Helena watching the event
Condition
A new piece of wood of approx 2cm high attached to the upper part of the panel, some repainting along the ochre coloured border of the icon, the inscription on the upper border repainted, some retouching in the central part of the panel
