Condition
This photograph is on a heavy double-weight paper with a matte surface and warm tonality. The photographer has colored the white borders of the print with green/blue crayon. The photograph is essentially in excellent condition. When examined in raking light, a few areas that are glossier than the surrounding area are faintly visible. There is a tiny white spot in the upper left quadrant that is likely an accretion on the surface. There is some minor wear on the photograph's corners and edges. The reverse is somewhat age-darkened and lightly soiled. None of these issues diminishes the considerable impact of this dramatic image
