Condition
This early print, on semi-glossy paper that has been trimmed to the image, is in generally good to very good condition. The periphery of the print is rubbed, with attendant tiny losses of emulsion. The upper and lower corners of the print are creased, which appears to have broken the emulsion. Upon very close examination in high raking light, tiny matte deposits of original retouching are visible overall. The reverse of the mount is lightly soiled and there are abrasions to the top paper ply in the upper and lower corners. Also on the reverse are the following annotations in an unidentified hand in ink: 'Rogert [sic] Frank?', 'Barcelona', and '1946.'
