Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is minor wear to the lower left corner and several further rub marks in places to the left edge. Upon very close inspection there are some stable drying cracks to the orange impasto paint. When examined under ultraviolet light there are several small areas of retouching that fluoresce – namely spots in the four corners; in several places along the left and top turnover edges; and in places at the lower centre of the composition.
