- An Egyptian Black-topped Redware Pottery Jar
- Glazed terracotta
- Height 8 5/16 in. 21.1 cm.
with flat base and slightly convex sides with flaring rim.

Estate of Mr. and Mrs. Vilain, Brussels, acquired in the 1970s
Condition
Generally good. There is a 3 1/2 inch-long vertical crack leading down from the rim on one side; this crack is visible in the catalogue photo towards the right hand side of the vessel. The sufrace appears to have been waxed at some point. Small minor chip or flaw on edge of rim.
