French private collection, Neuilly, acquired at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris in the 1950s (Drouot, Paris, Collin du Bocage, commissaire-priseur, March 28th, 2012, no. 182, illus.)

Condition

Back of head and sides of neck missing, areas of restoration on chin, lower part of proper right cheek and proper right temple, ears worn down, otherwise as shown.
