comprising a pair of flattened hu-form vases and covers, carved in relief with mirror images of a sage and his attendant riding a donkey in the snow to gather plum blossoms, the reverse with two monkeys playing in a peach tree, one vase with a lion knop, the other with dragon, both flanked by loose ring handles; the third vase carved in high relief and openwork with two peacocks, one grasping a sprig in its beak all among sprigs of peony issuing from a rocky base, two wood stands (8)

Condition

All three vases have minor nicks and chips. The budding flower finial on one cover has a polished chip.
