of shallow form, thinly sectioned and carved in the form of a curved leaf with ridges extending from the midvein towards the crenulated edge, two smaller leaves issuing from the stem that curls under to form a handle suspending a loose ring, the translucent stone with fissures and amber inclusions

Provenance

Acquired in China prior to 1900, and thence by descent.

Condition

There is a polished chip at the rim near the handle.
