each panel divided into five panels, the central three sections embellished with the motif of 'The Hundred Antiques', including carved jade animals, panels and various vessels filled with flowering branches, all applied with various hardstones, jade and ivory, above panels carved with double-fish within a key-fret scroll
Condition
A number of jade plaques and ivory opieces have been reattached. Some of the ivory pieces have cracks and some jade pieces have minor nicks. There is wear, staining and minor nicks to the wood frames in general.
The first panel is missing an ivory leaf, there are cracks and losses to the ivory book and one jade plaque is missing. There is a crack and some shrinkage to the inset panel in the lowest register.
The thrid panel has breaks to the left and right sides of the frame. There are also repairs and patches to the frame, and cracks to the main lacquer panel. There is a seperation line between the main and third lacquer panels and the frame. The tip of the ivory crane's beak is chipped.
The apron on the fourth panel appears to be a replacement. There are cracks to the left side of the frame, and there is a scratch to the main lacquer panel.
The fifth panel has a chip to the jade inkstone and losses to the ivory censer.
The sixth panel has small losses to the inlay in the first and main lacquer panels.
