- bronze
of bombé form with a waisted neck, the sides of the body set with two opposing mythical animal-head handles, all supported on a circular pedestal foot, one side engraved with the name of the temple, Wudi Dian, flanked by the date, a dedicatory inscription and the address of the maker, the interior rim set with two opposing loops, the circular stand with cusped aprons supported on three ruyi-form feet (2)
Condition
There is a square hole in the base and minor surface oxidazion to the bronze. There are some residue in the crevices but otherwise the censer is in overall good condition with age-consistent wear.

According to the inscription, the censer was donated to a Guandi Temple by a devotee surnamed Lin from the West River Hall, Xihe Tang, and made by Guangsheng (the name of the business) on Youbu Alley in Guangzhou.
