Description

  • ceramic
of slender baluster form, with high shoulders rising to the waisted neck, encircled by a single raised filet and galleried rim, well-painted in strong tones of cobalt blue with a continuous scene of deer along a rocky riverbank amidst towering pines with crane flying overhead, all resting on a slightly splayed foot

Condition

There is a single restored chip to the rim and two small areas of discolored glaze on the body. There is some roughness to the glaze around the foot as well as a single small chip.
