each made in the outline of two off-centered books placed side by side, one side of the recessed interior painted to resembled a brocaded book cover, the title slip further recessed to form an inkwell and inscribed Yousi Yuan cang, the other side inscribed with a poem by Tang dynasty poet Liu Zongyuan, all enclosed within a brown-dressed rim, the sides painted to resemble a book slipcover, the base inscribed with the date and Yousi Yuan zhuzhi (made by order of Yousi Yuan) (2)

Both have burst air bubbles along the edges and scattered iron spots. One with a burst bubble to the interior and a small impurity to the base causing an exposed bump. Both in overall good condition.
