The openwork pendant of geometric design set with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats, suspending two ruby beads, completed by a black silk cord, length 16 inches, signed Cartier, numbered 36169A; the ring of similar design, set with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat, accented by 27 buff-top rubies, size 5½, signed Cartier, numbered 13287A, with French assay and workshop marks.
Condition
In good condition overall. PENDANT: The diamonds are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity. The ruby beads are medium-deep slightly pinkish red, moderately included with examples of surface-reaching inclusions and abrasions at the facet junctions. With a box clasp. The clasp operates by depressing the thumbpiece and sliding out the hinged portion of the clasp. Signed on the side of the pendant. RING: The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS clarity. The rubies are medium slightly pinkish red and decorative in quality. Bearing French assay and workshop marks.
Accompanied by two Certificates of Authenticity from Cartier.
