The first 14 karat gold cherub holding a butterfly atop three freshwater pearls, with two synthetic sapphire eyes, the reverse inscribed 'Tuesday's Child is Full of Grace,' signed Ruser; the second 14 karat gold cherub atop two freshwater pearls carrying a bundle, with two synthetic sapphire eyes, the reverse inscribed, 'Thursday's Child has Far to Go,' signed Ruser; together with an 18 karat fluted gold pendant-locket suspended by a 14 karat oval-link chain, chain length 30 inches, the pendant signed VCA, indistinctly numbered 18V62-1.

Condition

In good condition. BROOCHES: The gold with minor porosity and nicking, evident upon close inspection. The creamy white baroque pearls with fair to good luster and strong rose and violet overtones. Evidence of yellow glue residue where the pearls are adhered to the brooch. The medium deep violet blue. The synthetic sapphire eyes are deep blue and decorative in quality. Please note the pearls have not been tested for natural origin. NECKLACE: Very minor scratching and porosity to the gold where the locket opens. The pendant number indistinct, stamped Italy.
