Condition
In good condition with minimal surface wear to the platinum. Well-made and nicely flexible. The sapphires range from medium-light to medium violetish blue, eye-clean to lightly included with a few examples of chipping not visible when worn. The rubies are a lively medium-deep slightly pinkish red, lightly to moderately included and semi-transparent. The emeralds are bright medium to medium-deep green, moderately to heavily included with examples of surface reaching inclusions and abrasions at the facet junctions only visible under magnification. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity. The necklace can be separated into five segments to adjust for length and for wear as a bracelet. Numbered on the male end of three clasps and fitted with several safety closures to allow for detaching sections. This piece was altered by Oscar Heyman & Brothers in the 1970s into the current necklace-bracelet combination.
