The enamelled miniature of a landscape at sunrise or sunset, the leaves and frame highlighted with rose and old European-cut diamonds, the top and bottom accented with pearls measuring approximately 3.5 mm, signed LMR at the lower left; late 19th Century.

Condition
In very good condition with some evidence of discoloration to the gold on the reverse, commensurate with age. Excellent craftsmanship with the enamelling intact. The diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. The near-round pearls present a silvery white body color with soft rose and green overtones, good luster and minute blemishing to the skins. Please note the pearls have not been tested for natural origin. With a Bailey Banks and Biddle box. It is believed that the enamel miniature was executed by Lluis Masriera y Rosés (1872-1958).
