The tapered bangle-bracelet with scalloped edges, centered by three oval-shaped cabochon sapphires weighing approximately 3.50 carats, framed by single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .50 carat, highlighted with royal blue enamel, internal circumference 6¾ inches, signed George E. Marcus; early 20th Century.
Condition
In good condition with light surface scratching to the gold. The cabochon sapphires are a richly saturated medium-deep violetish blue and lightly included. The diamonds framing the design are near colorless and decorative in quality. The worksmanship on the metal is lovely, with fine filigree work throughout. Bears a nice heft, gross weight approximately 22 dwts. Some minor enamel loss. Bracelet best fits small to medium wrists.
