Composed of 122 natural pearls graduating in size from approximately 8.9 to 3.0 mm, the clasp centered by an emerald-cut emerald flanked by two old European-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, length 27½ inches; circa 1920.
Condition
In good condition with nice filigree work on the clasp. The near-round pearls have a creamy white to white body color with moderate rose and golden overtones. Good luster and moderate blemishing such as dimpling, pitting, and peeling skins. One pearl is cracked in half. The emerald weighing approximately .45 carat is medium-light slightly bluish green, moderately to heavily included. The diamonds weighing approximately .70 carat are approximately I-J color, VS clarity. Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 07474 stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater.
