Centered by an octagonal-cut emerald weighing 3.39 carats, framed by round and old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.00 carats, size 4¾.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald is a lively medium-deep slightly bluish green, moderately to heavily included with examples of surface reaching inclusions in the heart of the stone. The diamonds surrounding the center emerald are approximately I-K color, predominantly VS clarity. The outer ring composed of 16 round diamonds was later added in the 1960's, the original emerald and diamond center cluster dated circa 1920's. Please note that the weight for the emerald as stated in the printed catalogue is an exact weight, the weight as stated on the gemological report is an approximate weight. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 12105134 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement.
