One terminal of scrollwork design set with three cabochon emeralds accented by old European and old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.75 carats, the other terminal set with five old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.30 carats framed by black enamel, gross weight approximately 59 dwts, length 8½ inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, with French assay marks; circa 1945.
Condition
In good condition. Minor abrasions to the gold, commensurate with wear. Emeralds are of decorative quality, one with a surface reaching inclusion present. The small diamonds are approximately E-G color, VS-SI clarity. The 5 larger diamonds are approximately E-G color, VS clarity. The length is adjustable.
