Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There are some minor scratches to the surface toward the upper right corner. A thin line of cracking runs horizontally across the center of the composition to the left of the left figure's shoulder. The surface is covered with a layer of slightly dirty and yellowed varnish. Under UV light: some minor spots of possible inpainting are visible within the sky, though the masking layer of varnish is difficult to read through. Overall the work is in very good condition.
