Description
- conch pearl, diamond, emerald, gold, platinum
The body set with a conch pearl measuring approximately 27.36 x 19.44 x 16.33mm, embellished by old mine-cut diamonds, highlighted by a beak set with two carved conch pearls, supporting an oscillating briolette diamond, decorated with eyes set with circular-cut emeralds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 4.50 carats, mounted in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the conch pearl set in the body is of baroque-shape, light pink in the middle and graduated to almost white in two ends, with minor flame pattern upon 10x loupe. The carved conch shell set as the "beak" is of light pink hue, with typical curved striae surface pattern upon close look. Diamonds set in the head, neck and tail, are of old-cut, about G to I colours, VS to SI clarity. Other tiny round diamonds are of modern brilliant-cut and briolette, similar colour, VS clarity. Two emeralds are of intense green colour, eye clean.
Condition: Nice workmanship, platinum and karat yellow gold mount, signs of normal wear, otherwise in very good condition.
