Description
- sapphire, platinum
Set with three cushion-shaped and oval sapphires weighing 6.57, 4.17 and 4.02 carats, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 6½
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin and AGL reports, all three sapphires are natural, of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. The largest, 6.57-carat Kashmir sapphire also received the AGL Jewelfolio, which classifed this sapphire as "Exceptional to Excellent" quality, "possessing a combination of attributes as fine color, uncommon clarity, well-proportioned cut and size." Please refer to the reports and Jewelfolio for details. In our opinion, the sapphires have matching colour, of strong "cornflower" blue colour, eye clean and lively. Upon 10x loupe, these sapphires are quite clean and only one sapphire has minor surface abrasions on crown facets, not seen to naked eyes.
Condition: Platinum ring mount, in very good condition.
