Description
- sapphire, diamond, platinum
The brooch set with three emerald-cut sapphires together weighing approximately 4.50 carats, decorated with baguette diamonds together weighing approximately 3.50 carats, mounted in platinum, with pendant fitting.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to AGL report, the sapphires are natural, of Kashmir origin, with no indication of heating and clarity enhancement. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the sapphires are matching, of intense blue colour, eye clean and lively. Upon 10x loupe, only one sapphire has a minor fingerprint and the rest are generally clean. Diamonds are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Vintage mount, with French assay marks and a later-added pendant loop on the back, overall in very good condition.
