Description
- Gold, enamel, ruby, diamond
The rectangular gold box applied with table-cut diamonds and champlevé enamel in red, green, blue, and off-white, decorated on all sides with bird, floral, and foliate designs, the front with two elephants, the thumbpiece set with a cabochon ruby, the hinged lid opening to reveal two compartments, the divider decorated with enamel.

Condition
Gold tested as 22 carats. Enamel in good condition only few nicks and scratches. Cabochon ruby with nicks and abrasions visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds with some nicks and abrasions. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use particularly on interior of box. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 570 grams.
