Suspending an oval shaped ruby weighing 7.68 carats, set within a frame of circular- and carré-cut diamonds, the front of the necklace similarly-set, to a gold rope chain accented with tonneau shaped elements set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 350mm.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices.
According to the Gübelin report, the ruby measures 12.87 x 9.53 x 6.42 mm; with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, few scratches and nicks; for further information, please refer to the Gübelin report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 10.00 - 11.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
