Signed M. GERARD and numbered 1722. Stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires of medium to medium dark tone, well saturated, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching; some sapphires with nicks and abrasions visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh 12.00 - 14.00 carats, on average H-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Clasp secure, safety pin. Normal signs of wear to the metal consistent with use. Gross weight approximately 69 grams.
