The ring in the printed catalogue is smaller than in actual size; the actual size of the emerald is 13.79 x 11.92 x 7.52mm. Maker's mark for Gübelin. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. According to the SSEF report, the emerald weighing 9.38 carats is of Colombian origin with a minor amount of oil in fissures, green of medium strong saturation colour; for further information please refer to the report; very few crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, minor scratches and nicks. Side stones estimated to weigh approximately 1.00 carat each, G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, sizing band. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 8 grams.
