Comprising: a necklace, a bangle, a pair of ear clips and a ring, each decorated with adjustable polished links concealing panels of brilliant-cut diamonds, inner circumference of necklace 370mm and bangle 160mm respectively, ring size 50, each signed René Boivin, French assay and maker's marks.
Provenance
By family tradition, this parure was gifted to the current owner from the Royal Court of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos of Oman.
Condition
Necklace, bracelet and ring signed René Boivin, all with maker's mark, ear clips signed R. Boivin on clip fittings. All stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. Total diamond weight estimated to be approximately 8.00 - 8.50 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Bulky gold parts can be moved to cover diamond elements. Clasp secure (necklace opens on the side, close to the front, bracelet on the front). Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 218 grams (necklace approximately 107 grams, bracelet 65 grams, ring 19 grams, ear clips 25 grams).
