Comprising: a necklace and a bracelet, each set with lines of circular-cut rubies framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, the necklace highlighted with circular motifs, necklace length approximately 390mm, bracelet length approximately 180mm, bracelet can be attached to necklace, total length approximately 570mm, each signed M. Gérard, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Both signed M. Gerard, maker's marks, both numbered 1680. Both stamped with 750 and French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Rubies well matched in colour, of strong saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, some scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 23.00 - 24.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasps secure, safety pin to the side. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 95 and 42 grams.
