The necklace suspending a pearl drop measuring approximately 15.8 by 11.7 by 10.9 mm, set with numerous old mine, old European, single and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 13.50 carats, length 16 inches, one diamond missing; together with a pair of earrings suspending two pearl drops measuring approximately 16.0 by 11.2 by 10.8 mm and 15.9 by 11.5 by 9. 5 mm, the tops set with numerous old mine, old European and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.15 carats; with two brooches of scrollwork design set with old mine, old European and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 8.00 carats; the set was adapted from a tiara, 19th Century; the tiara fitting, not illustrated, accompanies the set.

Condition

In good condition. NECKLACE: The diamonds are approximately G-K color, VS-SI clarity, some more decorative in quality. Fitted with two detachable pendant loops. One diamond missing. Length of pendant approximately 3 5/8 inches. EARRINGS: Evidence of minor discoloration to the mounting, commensurate with age. The diamonds are approximately H-K color, predominantly VS clarity. Length approximately 2 1/4 inches including the pearl. Fitted with posts. BROOCHES: Some discoloration to the gold and silver, more evident on one of the brooches as illustrated in the printed catalogue. The diamonds are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. Dimensions approximately 1 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches. All the pieces are later rhodium-plated. The spires of the tiara fitting (not illustrated in the catalogue) are significantly warped but intact. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 71457 stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater.
