Of flexible design composed of square-shaped links, set with seven button-shaped pearls measuring approximately 5.4 mm, spaced by links set with 28 smaller button-shaped pearls measuring approximately 3.6 mm, set with old European and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.60 carats, length 7 inches, signed Vever, numbered 822, with French assay mark; late 19th century.
Condition
In good condition with evidence of discoloration primarily at the edges, commensurate with both wear and age. The near-round to button-shaped pearls have a creamy white to white body color with strong rose and soft green overtones, good luster and minor blemishing in the form of pitting and uneven skins. The diamonds are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. Safety chain is broken. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
