The circular dial with Arabic numeral indicators, applied with translucent cobalt blue guilloché enamel, within an openwork square-shaped frame, set with rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.85 carats, completed with a cabochon sapphire crown, mechanical movement, caseback with French assay and workshop marks, numbered 76171, two diamonds missing; suspended from a delicate fancy-link chain set at intervals with old European and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.45 carats, length 28 inches; circa 1910.
Condition
In fair to good condition. The blue guilloché enamel is brighter than it appears in the printed catalogue. The dial with moderate staining and the crystal with a chip by the outer edge. The rose-cut diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality, two are missing as stated in the printed catalogue. The round diamonds are approximately J-K color, VS-SI clarity. The movement signed Bueche-Girod, the watch is currently running. Please see the Important Notice Regarding Watches in page 349 of the printed catalogue.
