The fanciful hanging flower vase set with carved lapis lazuli and jadeite flowerheads, accented by cabochon onyx and jadeite leaves, the frames and vase applied with green and black enamel to resemble jadeite and onyx, with old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, further set with two pearls measuring approximately 4.7 by 4.6 mm and 3.8 by 3.0 mm, the larger pearl seving as the crown, with an oval-shaped dial with Arabic numeral indicators, Swiss mechanical movement, numbered 70006, case numbered 9798, with French assay mark and maker's mark for Verger Frères; circa 1928.

Condition

In good condition with some light wear to the gold and platinum commensurate with age. The black and green enamel are intact and in good condition. Some very faint loss to the black enamel near one of the edges on the reverse, and minor denting and scratching to the green enamel only evident under magnification. The carved lapis flowerheads are deep blue and well-matched for color, with minimal color mottling and very light flecking of pyrite. The jadeite is a medium green with minor color mottling, semi-transparent to translucent. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. The two off-round pearls have silvery white and golden body colors with good luster and minor blemishing to the skins. Length approximately 3 inches. Watch currently running.
