Description
- sapphire, diamond
Centered by a cushion-cut sapphire weighing 11.16 carats, framed by round, baguette and tapered baguette diamonds weighing approximately 4.00 carats, size 3¾, fitted with inner sizing spheres.
Condition
In good condition. The sapphire is a medium very slightly violetish blue, lightly included. There is some minor silk visible from a face-up view, but it does not detract from the appearance of the stone. The diamonds are approximately H-J color, VVS-VS clarity. Numbered 3730, with an indistinct mark on the underside of the shank. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 13075035 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Together with a letter from Gübelin attesting to the rarity of large, untreated sapphires. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 55477 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating.
