The square emerald-cut emerald weighing 12.12 carats, framed by 14 round diamonds weighing approximately 4.60 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette diamonds weighing approximately .70 carat, size 5¾, signed Cartier, London.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald is a rich medium deep very slightly bluish green, slightly to moderately included. Minor areas of extinction. Diamonds are approximately E-F color, VVS-VS clarity. Although signed Cartier London, we cannot guarantee that the ring is by Cartier. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 54146 stating that the emerald is of Classic Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: minor, type: oil. Together with a letter from the AGL stating that "In this particular case, the combination of size, origin and quality elements for the emerald signifies a gem worthy of distinction."
