The plaques depicting figures dancing and playing instruments alongside trees applied with black enamel, amidst a landscape scene featuring a sunset set with calibré-cut rubies, sapphires and emeralds, further accented by numerous old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 11.95 carats, length 7¼ inches, with maker's mark for Katz & Ogush, Inc; circa 1930.
Condition
In good condition. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. The colored stones are decorative in quality. With very minor loss to the enamel, visible only under magnification. The enamelling backed by yellow gold plaques. Fine millegrain work to the metal. With box, most likely original. Fitted with safety chain. Marked KO certified for Katz and Ogush, a New York firm in the 1920s and 1930s.
