The brooch and earclips designed as flowerheads, the brooch centered by a round diamond weighing approximately 1.15 carats, framed by petals set with numerous calibré-cut Mystery-Set rubies, alternating with petals set with round diamonds weighing approximately 5.30 carats, gross weight approximately 37 dwts, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, Made in France, numbered NY 61383, with French assay marks; together with a pair of earclips of similar design, centered by two round diamonds weighing approximately 1.70 carats, the petals set with numerous calibré-cut Mystery-Set rubies, further set with round diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats, gross weight approxiamtely 29 dwts, signed VCA, Made in France, numbered NY 62815, with French assay and workshop marks. With signed box.
Condition
In very good condition. The mystery-set rubies on both the brooch and the earclips are medium to medium deep slightly purplish red, well-matched for color and range from eye-clean to very lightly included. The diamonds are approximately E-F color, VVS-VS clarity. The brooch bears a nice heft and the earclips are comfortable to wear.
