The geometric collar of articulated form, the panels set with 84 cabochon rubies weighing approximately 100.00 carats spaced and bordered by baguette, old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 25.60 carats, internal circumference approximately 14 inches, with French assay and maker's marks; circa 1930.

Condition

In good condition. The rubies are a medium to medium deep slightly purplish red color and are of translucent to semi-translucent clarity. Some inclusions break the surface. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VVS-VS clarity, with a few SI clarity stones. Very well made, supple and of a nice heft. Fitted with a safety closure. Maker's mark is an AK in a triangle. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2125477755 stating that three randomly tested rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
